D – Eye Area

Why should you pay attention to eye circles and bags?

The eye area is one of the most sensitive areas of your face. Changes in the eye area can let you appear sick, tired, or even much older than you really are. However, the reason to look at these circles and bags are much deeper than simply appearance. From the ancient wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) the changes in your face show changes in your internal organs. Thus, you should take the changes of the eye area seriously because with these changes your body is trying to send you a message that it’s getting weaker.  For the most part, your body is trying to tell you to change your daily habits, your diet, or to check up on your emotional and physical well-being before your internal organs start deteriorating.  With more awareness about the signals, your body is sending you can prevent the development of chronic diseases, stay energized and healthy, and prolong your youthful appearance.

The earlier you understand your body’s messages, the better chance you have to preserve your health and get rid of the negative changes in your appearance.

Using the knowledge studied since 600 B.C.E. from the Taoist monks and the principles of Chinese Medicine (TCM) of face reading and mapping you can begin to understand what your body is trying to tell you and help to prevent chronic diseases.

On the next page you can learn more about the messages your body is sending:

  • Eye Circles (Sunken Eye)
  • Colored / Shaded Eye Circles
  • Puffy Eyes (Eye Edema / Eye Bags)
  • Impurities above or under the eye
